My parents are coffee farmers in the central highlands of Vietnam. I wanted to help improve their technical skills and crop production, but also reduce cost and protect the environment. So I decided to build my career in the agricultural commodities industry. My daily activities as a Senior Agronomist include travelling to speak with farmers, buyers and colleagues, to gather the latest market information and updates relevant for my location. I also work on sustainability projects, including the development of training for lead farmers, improving farmers’ cultivation practices, and preparing for internal and external audits every year.
