A hugely experienced sugar trader with over 23 years in the business, Luca spend the last three at LDC.
Managing a team of eight traders, he oversees LDC’s sugar trading worldwide - from Europe to the Far East, from Africa to the Americas - working with fast-changing markets that always offer new opportunities.
Away from work, Luca enjoys golf, skiing, hiking and tennis, which he plays all year round - a relish for physical challenges that is reflected in his appreciation for the dynamic, real-world challenges of his trading role at LDC.

Luca's Little-Known Fact
In 2014, Luca had the opportunity to charter the largest vessel ever of raw sugar that loaded 106,000 mt from Brazil to Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE for one of the largest refinery in the world.
