Karen

Karen has been with LDC for more than five years. Originally from the UK, she began working for LDC in Dubai as M&A Senior Legal Counsel, before transferring to Geneva after two years.

In June 2019, she was appointed to lead a newly-created global transversal team of more than 20 lawyers from 8 countries, working on global projects and processes regarding corporate and M&A matters.

This complex job demands the meticulous attention to detail that one might expect in a senior legal role. It also requires resilience, drive, leadership and the ability - as Karen puts it - “to juggle multiple matters and bring people together effectively to deliver for the business”.

Quite a challenge! But for Karen, who relishes challenges and the variety that comes with working for a global company with a diverse workforce based across the world, this makes her job exciting.
