- Formulate and lead the Indian Pulses trading strategy on Domestic, Export and Import in liaison with Global Head of pulses and lead of India on risk deployment, Team structure, Business Development, Asset Expansion & Customer centricity.
Build a business plan for a trading strategy in liaison with Global Head of Pulses: with a recognition of the broader Global Picture
Follow Indian trade policy and prepare to work on the product line’s global e expansion strategy as it pertains to India i.e. Asset v. Supply Agreement etc.
Collaborate daily with the global team on daily calls and chats
Express opinion on regional basis and global basis
Identify strategic pulse milling opportunities, on the basis of need gap identification in the consumer market, geographies basis raw material availability and logistic factors.
Expand the network by building strategic relationships with key institutional clients, network of modern retail buyers and exporters. Execute long term vision of being an able B2B and B2C supplier of top quality basket of pulses.
Experience

- MBA, Master’s degree, or bachelor’s degree (Master’s is preferred) in agribusiness, marketing, agricultural economics, logistics, or agronomy is required.
- 10+ Years of experience.

- Experience of handling P&L and run large positions, devise trading strategies.
- Exhibit strong technical understanding of the business.
