We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Coffee Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage key aspects of our supply chain operations, specifically focused on Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Logistics, Warehouse Management, and Exports. The ideal candidate will ensure that all supply chain activities run smoothly, from sourcing point of raw coffee beans to delivering the final product to customers. This role requires a strong background in logistics, financial management, inventory control, and international trade.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Oversee and manage the AR and AP processes for coffee procurement, sales, and distribution.
  • Coordinate invoicing, payments, credit control and collections with customers and suppliers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments and receipts related to coffee supply chain operations.
  • Work closely with the finance team to reconcile discrepancies and manage cash flow.
  • Monitor credit risk and manage relationships with key customers and suppliers.

2. Logistics Management

  • Develop, implement, and optimize logistics strategies for the movement of coffee beans.
  • Manage transportation relationships, including freight forwarders & clearing agents.
  • Ensure timely delivery of coffee products to customers while managing transportation costs and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with production and sales teams to ensure the timely availability of coffee products.

3. Warehouse Management

  • Oversee warehouse operations to ensure accurate inventory tracking and efficient storage and handling of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality control standards, and food safety requirements.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize stock-outs, waste.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to plan for inventory replenishment and product movement.

4. Export Management

  • Manage export operations for coffee products to international markets, ensuring compliance with export regulations, customs procedures, and trade documentation.
  • Work with international customers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth and timely shipments.
  • Prepare and review export-related documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other required paperwork.
  • Monitor market trends, trade tariffs, and regulations that affect export operations.

5. Supply Chain Optimization

  • Continuously analyze and improve supply chain processes, with a focus on cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement supply chain metrics and KPIs to assess performance and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Sales, Operations) to ensure alignment of supply chain goals with business objectives.

6. Team Management & Reporting

  • Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on supply chain performance, including financial performance (AR/AP), logistics efficiency, inventory levels, and export activities.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance skills and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on logistics, warehouse management, and finance (AR/AP). Experience in the coffee industry is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency : Kannada; English ; Hindi.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of supply chain operations, logistics, and export processes.
    • Proficiency in financial management, including AR and AP processes.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Familiarity with Advance Excel ; ERP systems and supply chain software.
    • Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and export documentation.
