Wat ga jij doen?

De Project Manager is in de eerste plaats verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van CAPEX-projecten in onze terminal in Gent, maar kan ook worden toegewezen om projecten in EMEA en/of op het Juice Platform-niveau te beheren. Hierbij werk je samen met interne en externe resources die nodig zijn voor het ontwerp en de bouw van nieuwe projecten of de vernieuwing van bestaande projecten, waarbij je voldoet aan de commerciële verwachtingen, de operationele efficiëntie maximaliseert en alle federale, staats- en lokale regelgevende vereisten naleeft.

Wat houdt de functie concreet in?

  • Ontwikkelen en leiden van de implementatie van CAPEX-projecten;
    • Review van het project;
    • Bepalen van de scope, noden, budget,…;
    • Aanvragen van de nodige vergunningen;
    • Hygiëne en veiligheidsvereisten naleven;
    • Bijsturen waar nodig, op vraag van stakeholders;
  • Ondersteunen van het management van de site bij de industriële en SHE-aspecten van de implementatie van CAPEX-projecten;
  • Voorstellen doen voor de implementatie van nieuwe projecten in samenwerking met het lokale, platform & regionale team (proces, verbetering van bedrijfsmiddelen, onderhoud, SHE, PMO);
  • Implementeren van locatie-overschrijdende standaardisatie & technische innovaties van technische processen;
  • Stakeholder management & communicatie;
  • Rapportage;
  • Aansturen & superviseren van het personeel van aannemers die adviseren over technische zaken.

General description: 


The Project Manager is primarily responsible to manage CAPEX Projects in our Ghent plant but can also be assigned or reassigned to manage projects in the EMEA-region and/or on Juice Platform-level. This position will work with internal and external resources necessary in the design and construction of new projects or revamping projects as required, meeting commercial expectations, maximizing operating efficiencies, and maintaining compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Support site management in the industrial and SHE aspects of CAPEX project implementation; 
  • Develop and lead the implementation of CAPEX projects; 
    • Review project; 
    • Determine scope, needs, budget;
    • Apply for necessary permits; 
    • Compliance with hygiene and safety requirements; 
    • Adjust where necessary, at the request of stakeholders; 
  • Implement cross-site standardization & technical innovations of technical processes; 
  • Propose implementation of new projects in collaboration with local, platform & regional team (process, 
  • asset improvement, maintenance, SHE, PMO); 
  • Stakeholder management & communication; 
  • Reporting; 
  • Manage & supervise contractor staff advising on technical issues; 
  • Internal contacts: Engineering manager Juice, local LDC staff, managers LDC Ghent; 
  • External contacts: Government, suppliers & partners.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor level and min. 5 years of practical experience in a similar role; 
  • Languages: Dutch (preference), English (fluent); 
  • Ability to create accountability 
  • Lead by example 
  • Expert in project management and industrial project development; 
  • Experience in safety, Security (ISPS) and Environmental processes and practices; 
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, project…).
