Join Global IT Operations at LDC Company in North America and manage all the infrastructure and operations projects in the region. LDC in North America is growing fast with new acquisitions and new facility builds. You will get to coordinate multiple projects, work directly with key business stakeholders and IT teams/members, and report regularly to regional IT leadership on project status.
As project manager, you will provide project planning framework for regional projects of different sizes and scopes, which could involve different project governance methods depending on the project size. You have a solid history of working with IT infrastructure teams on infrastructure related projects (network, data rooms, system implementations, etc.)
You are a regional project manager with experience, who is responsible for setting timeline planning, activity mapping and progress and work breakdown for a local project team, while working closely with project management peers from global teams to align local project efforts with the broader global project governance.
You will report to regional service delivery management and will have the chance to interact with people both regionally and globally.
Main accountabilities:
What you’ll Do:
- Coordinate the schedule and task activities of various project resources on a cross-functional regional team. Facilitate project team meetings to enable discussion to achieve project deadlines.
- Communicate regional program status including budget, timelines, risk and issues to global project management teams, line and senior management.
- Follow global project governance processes at a regional level, and act as the main point of contact to handle governance with global project teams.
- Establish project scope, timeline, objectives and resource requirements that align with business goals in collaboration with regional stakeholders and global project teams. Keep and manage planning showing key deliverables, milestones, dependences, and scope as agreed with the peer global project teams
- Negotiate project expectations effectively and communicate status, risk and issues to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear way. Engage with regional and global project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Manage changes in project scope proactively, identify risks and potential impact, and propose mitigation steps and contingency planning as needed.
- Demonstrate project management leadership to the company, especially other project managers
- Bring a ‘best practice’ view of project management methodologies to regional and global project teams, using experience to adapt element of multiple methodologies where needed.

What you’ll Need:
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years working experience as project manager primarily focused on IT Infrastructure build and deploy.
- Practical experience of successfully managing large and complex IT projects involving multiple business and IT functions and vendors
- Proven ability to deliver clear communication and presentations to senior management and project stakeholders.
- Preferred experience working in multiple project methodologies, covering Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Planner or Microsoft Project to manage resources and dependencies
- Working experience with PowerPoint to communicate weekly and monthly project status reports
- Familiarity with project gate process (charter, commit, deploy, close, etc.)
- Comfortable working with budget and resource estimations in Excel
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Excellent organization and attention to detail skills especially for inventory management
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong customer focus ; service oriented attitude
- Excellent telephone presence with organized follow-up skills
Education:
The following is the preferred qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering
Languages: Fluent English both written and spoken mandatory
