The FPSO (Finance Processes Systems and Organization) team is looking for Business Process Owner who will be in charge of one or more of the below E2E processes:

  • Payment flow (incl. integration with other systems), accounting and month end close
  • Inventory, Industry & Controlling
  • Accounting
  • Integration with Consolidation and Reporting

The typical activities of for Business Process Owner Lead consists into supporting the current Finance Transformation group program.

The Business Process Owner Lead:

  • On one side, guarantees the LDC Group practices and processes, as well as group practices
  • On the other side, support countries in their execution but also guarantee efficiency in terms of tools, organisation and processes

This applies in different kind of activities:

  • Live countries support and small enhancements: enhance user experience, provide continuous improvement, be the core model keeper and supervise the delivery of changes, keep documentation up to date
  • Small projects, called “Ad-Hoc”: launch and drive initiatives to improve BOLD
  • BOLD implementations in new countries: act as a referent for CORE processes and data related to his scope. Find the balance between local needs and Group requirements
  • Innovation: support initiatives integrated with BOLD (Back Office LDC) linked to innovation (analytics, automation, switch to paperless)

The Business Process Owner Lead includes the coverage of a group of processes. It is a management role in which he will be in charge of a team, responsible of scope, deadlines.

This role requires close relationship with our Business partners, other FPSO streams (Treasury, Procurement,..) and hand-in- hand collaboration with our DT&A departments.

7 years of strong operational experience ideally ideally mixing:

  • Audit in a leading audit or consultant company
  • An active participation in Finance transformation project either as an internal (ex: AMOA, Functional Business Lead, Process Owner, …) or as an external resource
  • Experience in working in project mode and ability to perform in various roles from individual contributor to a leadership role
  • Experience in international environments
  • Experience in process design and implementation of an IT tool (interfaces would be a plus)
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other business organizations; successful experience in working with diverse groups of people in a problem-solving environment
  • Management of a team

Other skills (Computer Skills, etc)

  • Fundamental understanding of core accounting and finance processes
  • Strong ability to gather & analyze information, define problems and form a plan of action
  • Evident ability to analyze and challenge workflows, being analytical and synthetic
  • Work independently and take ownership of the role as well as contributing to goals as a team member
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure and result oriented.
  • Ability to set priorities
  • Problem solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational ability with a strong attention to detail

Academics

Leading business school, Leading Engineer School, University degree in Business Administration with a major in:

  • Information System and/or
  • Finance/Accounting and/or
  • Process & organization management
