JOB DESCRIPTION

Description

Lead the supervision of the production department, taking responsibility for the productivity and efficiency of the process at the production asset, following safety (SHE) procedures and policies, coordinating operative personnel that produce and contribute to the achievement of the objectives. To propose improvements and innovations, inspiring your team leading with the best performance model.

 

Lead the Maintenance department, taking responsibility for the asset integrity, safety policies and SOPs, prevention, and correction of the optimal operation of machinery performance also coordinating maintenance service from external providers when needed. Developing and performing maintenance plans for the reduction of non-scheduled downtimes and keep upgrading the factory setup to increase productivity and adherence to operational excellence standards.

 

Responsibilities

1 Production:

Enforce total SHE Policy Compliance in all aspects of Production and other Departments. Achieve targets of machinery efficiency Achieve goal of production programs, planning, executing, and reporting in database and physical records Lead a high level and committed team, evaluate personnel performance, and propose trainings. Achieve timely fulfillment of export delivery plan. Real time resolution of situational challenges or occurrences in production Achieve process performance goals efficiently, provide clear justifications for non-compliance and action plans. In charge of running the Coffee Milling plant and throughput accountability. Working out the material resources needed. Monitoring the coffee production and export processes and adjusting schedules and Management Reporting Participate in Capex budgetary cycles, Development of Projects proposals and execution. To support in Food Safety system Implementation and any other certification assigned

 

 2 Maintenance:

To ensure the plant and equipment is implemented and maintained in accordance with Engineering standards, local and statutory legislation, ISO systems and LDC SHE standards. Lead a high-performance team and commitment to the company. Setting, Monitoring, Controlling and Adherence to Maintenance Key Performance indicators Quickly solve any situation that requires corrective work to avoid downtime that minimizes productivity. Perform project assemblies for new equipment implementation or plant improvements. Propose and support new projects of new machines, installations or premises improvement in the Company. Achieve SHE compliance in machine integrity and floor activities. Management of Maintenance OPEX budget allocations in timely and least cost manner. To plan and perform maintenance plan with external providers in case is needed. Collaborate in other tasks and activities assigned by Management.

 

3. Knowledge and Experience:

4-5 years as production or maintenance supervisor Safety an Healthy practices Experience working in coffee mills or industry factories for commodities. Experience in mechanical, electrical, electronic, compressed air and power generators. Experience in Hot Works Experience working in Industry environment. Day shift and night shift rotations Weighing scales equipment Quality controls in processes Cost and budget controls Projects experience

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in production or maintenance supervision roles.
  • Safety and Health: Proven ability to maintain safety and health standards.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of coffee mills or commodity industry factories.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience in mechanical, electrical, electronic, compressed air, and power generator systems.
  • Hot Work: Familiarity with hot work procedures and safety protocols.
  • Shift Work: Ability to work flexible shifts, including day and night shifts.
  • Equipment Operation: Experience with weighing scale equipment.
  • Quality Control: Knowledge of quality control processes and standards.
  • Cost Management: Skills in cost and budget control.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing and executing projects.
