The Lead Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing standardized integration workstreams for end-user productivity, network, enterprise computing and security. This role works closely with the M&A Infrastructure Program Manager and leads technical assessments during the critical first 100 days of integration as well

Main accountabilities (Main Responsibilities):

  • Develop comprehensive infrastructure integration and separation strategies aligned with M&A objectives.
  • Lead the technical architecture design and standardization for seamless M&A infrastructure integration.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with infrastructure transitions during M&A activities.
  • Conduct detailed assessments of infrastructure and workplace inventories in target companies.
  • Design and implement secure and compliant network architecture and connectivity solutions.
  • Architect and execute cloud and datacenter migration strategies with a focus on enterprise computing.
  • Establish standardized processes and playbooks for efficient future M&A infrastructure activities.
  • Provide technical oversight for integration workstreams, including email, network, telephony & datacenter migrations.
  • Assess legacy application complexity and dependencies to drive integration strategies.
  • Plan and implement end-user computing solutions to maintain productivity and connectivity.
  • Collaborate with Security Architects to integrate security operations centers and frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and geographic requirements throughout the integration process.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in infrastructure architecture
  • At least 5 years' experience in M&A technical integration
  • Proven track record in cloud and datacenter transformation projects
  • Strong background in network architecture and security design
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 platform migrations
  • Demonstrated success in technical due diligence
  • Experience in developing technical standards and frameworks

Technical Expertise:

  • Enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Network infrastructure and security
  • Identity and access management
  • End-user computing and workplace technologies
  • Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Telephony and unified communications
  • Infrastructure automation and DevOps
