As SAP Procurement Solution Manager, you are the Asia regional expert and the referent for SAP Procurement processes. Additionally, you might act as the project-based SAP Supply Chain team lead ensuring successful BOLD rollouts in the Asia region for all Supply Chain processes listed above.

You define and establish target solution for Procurement, starting from an initial conceptual vision and evolving into a more concrete solution specification. You make high-level design choices according to the business strategy; dictate the standards, guidelines, best practices, and patterns and identify impacts on the information system. You will have to understand business requirements, prepare or review specifications, work effectively with other functional and technical team members, make recommendations, and converge all requirements into one/several solutions.

When specifications are set and solutions defined, you will also ensure the delivery of the solution hand-in-hand with the rest of the team.

In this position, you will have two main roles covering a large scope of responsibilities:

You are the Asia gatekeeper of the Procurement processes & solutions and its integration with the rest of the ecosystem:

  • Understand the business needs and translate into a solution.
  • With other leads, you design cross processes flows.
  • Work closely and confidently with various departments.
  • You are ensuring maintenance and enhancement of your process.

Depending on project needs, you might act as project-based SAP Supply Chain team lead for the BOLD rollouts on the Asia region:  

  • Manage regional projects staffing (ex: job description, replacements…)​ and new joiners onboarding.
  • Coordinate the supply chain team activities to ensure BOLD rollout in Asia region are delivered on time and quality for supply chain scope.
  • Provide visibility to project manager on the supply chain activities status and raise any potential risk. 
  • Share Asia regional best practices to the other supply chain regional team members and incorporate these best practices on the Core methodology for continuous improvement.

You are part of the company that implements worldwide initiatives. You will be onboarded as core team member in S/4 worldwide roadmap.

  • You will be responsible of SAP MM and ARIBA processes, including integration with finance flows.
  • You will be making solution design decision as an owner of the procurement solution.
  • You will manage the business relationship to ensure priority and business value.
  • You will enable long term value by proposing improvement.

 

Knowledge and Experience:

IT Skills

  • [Must] Experience in IT best practices.
  • [Must] Experience on full SAP project lifecycle
  • [Must] Good experience in SAP MM. 
  • [Strong Plus] Basic experience in SAP Ariba or SRM, or knowledge of Source to Contract process
  • [Plus] Basic experience in PM, PP & QM.
  • [Plus] Basic experience in SAP Fiori.
  • [Plus] Experience with test campaign executions & automation tool.
  • [Plus] Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow.

 

Business Skills

  • [Must] Knowledge of procurement business processes understanding.
  • [Plus] Experience in soft commodity trading practices.

 

Soft Skills

  • [Must] Great relationship and ability to work with multiple teams.
  • [Must] Ability and flexibility to work independently as well as in a team
  • [Must] Ability to learn fast and adapt to new solutions.
  • [Must] Ability to demonstrate Critical Thinking.

Experience:

  • Over 10 years proven experience in IT projects.
  • Good experience on SAP MM implementation projects
  • Experience working in a large IT team with International multi-cultural environment.

Education:  

  • Bachelor degree or above in IT, Procurement, Business school or equivalent.

 

Languages:

  • English (Fluent)
