This position will report locally to the Sustainability Manager for SLT and globally to the Head of Sustainability for Grains & Oilseeds. We have a hybrid work model.
The main objective of this position will be to create and/or manage the implementation of LDC´s new challenges associated with the Deforestation and convertion free commitment, the roadmap towards decarbonization, new requirements of the European Union, etc.
This position will be key in the contribution of the sustainability structure to develop the objective mentioned above, to ensure the implementation and follow-up in a timely manner.

• Participate in the development of the local strategy of the LDC Deforestation and Conversion Free commitment. Coordinate with the different sectors involved for definitions and implementation.
• Participate in the development of the action plan to guarantee compliance with the European regulation of deforestation-free products and manage its implementation. Coordinate with the different sectors involved.
• Develop and manage local carbon and regenerative agriculture projects in Argentina, aligned with LDC´s objectives. Coordinate with the different sectors involved.
• Accompany the development of the same objectives in Paraguay and Uruguay, providing support to the local sustainability team.
• Proactively communicate to the different internal clients information related to customer needs (traceability; segregation, etc.) in order to guarantee compliance with all the programs implemented and to be implemented;
• Provide support to all traceability and digitization solutions that are being developed to make processes more efficient;
• Work back to back with LDC´s Global Sustainability Team

• Experience in agricultural companies (desirable), Sustainability background (desirable) and project implementation: farmer engagement/capacity building for sustainable production and with regenerative agriculture, GHG accounting, etc., (highly desirable)
