Overall Purpose and Objective of Position:
The Senior Employment Cost Analyst reports to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards within the Total Rewards COE of Louis Dreyfus Company (NAM). The Senior Employment Cost Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and managing employment costs, reporting on KPIs and people cost analytics to create insights to guide decision making. The incumbent will utilize advanced tools such as Power BI and Workday to perform this work. This role requires a deep understanding of employment cost structures, data analysis, and the ability to provide strategic insights to support decision-making processes.
*This position is hybrid 4 days in office and subject to change.*
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Analyze employment cost data to include managing budgets, identifying variances, and recognizing trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost optimization. Independently articulate trends and recommendations to leaders. Support Regional HR Head on prepare an HR budget by identifying key expenses, gathering data, estimating costs, and reviewing with leadership, while providing regular updates, and facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Perform accrual true-up processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to provide insights and recommendations on employment cost management.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards using Power BI to visualize employment cost metrics.
- Utilize Workday and other tools & systems to manage and track employment cost data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Conduct regular audits of employment cost data to ensure integrity and accuracy.
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports related to employment costs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to employment cost management.

Education/Professional Certifications/Licenses
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field. Master’s degree in related field preferred.
Experience
Basic qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment cost / financial analysis within HR or a related role.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (including any physical demands)
The following are basic qualifications:
- Advanced excel skills
- Proficiency in Power BI and Workday is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis
