In a challenging environment within a dynamic regional finance team, as an active member of the Regional EMEA FP&A Team, the EMEA FP&A Analyst will actively:
1/ Support in the regional FP&A responsibilities
- Contribution in preparation and coordination of the EMEA Budget (macro assumptions review like forex, inflation, …)
- Support in the production of monthly deliverables to be presented to Management: coordinate with the functions to collect their analysis, refresh templates and check their consistencies.
- Support in monitoring the P&L results of EMEA (template to be maintained/enhanced for the monthly review with countries).
- Support the Regional FP&A team in all FP&A improvement projects and initiatives for the EMEA region.
2/ Industry controlling – being responsible and in charge of the full scope of EMEA Industry covering
- Preparation, coordination, and analysis of the Budget and Forecast exercises (active support for the countries)
- Analysis of the Industry costs to ensure accuracy and quality of the reporting through detailed analysis and support in a monthly review to be able to comment the Actuals versus Budget
- Follow up and analysis of the Industry capex envelop of several million of US dollars including Maintenance, SHE and Asset Improvement categories.
- Active participation in the preparation and coordination between the industry team and the commercial one for the Grains & Oilseeds platform to review on a regular basis (2/3 times per year) the performance of the main EMEA assets
- Preparation twice a year for the Industry scope an analysis to comment the main variations year-on-year.
- Participation in the production & analysis of benchmarks, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis (list not exhaustive)
Experience
Experience |
- 2-3 years experience in Finance (Business Analysis, Business Controlling and Audit would be a plus)
- Business School/Accounting/Commerce Major
- Understanding of Accounting principles is required
- Working knowledge of Financial/Commodity Markets is preferred
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Power BI (if possible)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and to respect the deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong profile with fast learning curve as opportunities to evolve within the team
