Overall responsibility:
Operation & execution for all Domestic trades to ensure that services are provided in an effective and efficient manner and aligned with G&O platform strategy & expectations.
Main Responsibilities
- To maintain a systematic process report where status of progress (ie executed/ in process/ pending matters) is effected in timely fashion until completion of contract.
- To handling logistics contracts, preparing docs for customs declaration, DO, payment request and local delivery document
- Port / Insurance contracts and payment
- Checking the actual monthly costing and record
- To finalize contract (T&C) with buyers in co-ordination with Singapore execution (SGP-exec) and preparation of draft contract for issuance.
- To follow-up with buyers on return of signed contracts/amendments (if any) within reasonable timeframe.
- To follow-up/push buyers for collection schedule.
- To liaise with ports custom/shipping agents/logistics companies ensuring vessels discharging operations is smooth and efficient.
- Liaising with warehouse operators for storage of cargo and in co-ordination with SGP-exec for all storage/warehouse agreement is in place.
- Monitoring inventory movements and ensuring payment received prior release of cargo to customers.
- Responsible for storage insurance.
- Responsible for payment and receivables of storage charges.
- To closely follow-on with buyers/customers on any outstanding payments.
- Provide high value support to the business, anticipate risk, risk mitigation and provide solution to the business.
- Update tax & duty for cargo/product traded.
- Supporting CNF trading (occasionally):
- Prepare Shipping instruction
- Issuing CNF contracts
- Checking LC draft and follow up with buyers for LC deadline.

Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in commodity trading/marketing agri-products (wheat, corn, soymeal…) and global regulator.
- Having experience in SAP, ERP, etc. and general accounting knowledge are advantages.
Other skills (Computer Skills, etc):
- Have analytic skill. Being pro-active and result-oriented.
- Effective communicator. Have great communication skills and negotiation skills in interaction with internal and external partners.
- Able to work independently and under pressure. Have teamwork spirit.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point.
Languages:
- Effective command of spoken and written English to work with foreigners & English speakers.
Academics:
- University graduated with major in Business administration/Accounting/Foreign Trade or equivalent.
