I run our development activities, security activities, infrastructure and service management for SAP, which is being rolled out to two countries right now, the US and China, and also supporting a number of other live countries.
At this point, we’re pretty much working in every major time zone.
When you see a phase of a project beautifully executed - everything well done - you know that’s like in the A-Team when the guy says “I love when a plan comes together!” - that’s my favorite moment.
For me, digital is adding IT into processes where you wouldn’t expect it, and it’s also adding IT or digital to our offering to customers.
The three words that represent LDC for me are international, ethical and massive. It is more interesting to work for a company that is massive because it’s never just one simple rule to apply to everything, you have to deal with complexity. And that’s a challenge I really like.
I’ve been doing this for 20 years. The greatest reward is going live, on time, we’re done, we can celebrate now and break out the champagne and yeah, onto the next project. For me, that’s the highlight.
