Nathanael

Nathanael enjoys the balancing act that his role encompasses at LDC, dividing his time between overseeing our palm oil business in Sub-Saharan Africa, coordinating risk management and exports of grains and oilseeds products out of Southern Africa, and working with teams in East and West Africa to market wheat, corn and soybean meal.

The complexity of this role challenges Nathanael’s time management and decision-making skills, built up since he joined LDC after university as one of our graduate trainees, attracted by the fast-paced world of commodities trading and the company’s commitment to promoting young talents.

Now a trading manager, Nathanael appreciates both the camaraderie and motivation among LDC employees, and the flat organizational structure that makes senior management approachable. But most of all, he values the integrity that forms the backbone of LDC’s business culture, and its dynamic nature that creates both challenges and opportunities.
