I am an IT Stream Lead for Industry, Procurement and Controlling, participating in large implementation projects for which is aim to standardize back-office processes and solutions.
What I love the most at LDC, and what makes it exciting, is working with people who have completely different skills, who are passionate and willing to share. It makes the personal learnings and the professional learnings very rich.
My current project is interesting and rewarding in the sense that we see things growing from an initial idea to become a reality, with the several teams involved in projects.
At LDC, we can always count on our colleagues. The projects we manage are super challenging, but then we know that we always have the support of our management and the supports of our colleagues. This allows us overcome our challenges and make it happen!
I had the opportunity to visit our General Lagos plant in Argentina, as well as our Wittenberg plant in Germany. We saw how we process our goods, from the grains to biodiesel and other final products. And we see how our solutions are benefitting the day-to-day activities of end users.
From a career point of view, I started in Controlling at LDC three and a half years ago. Then I had the opportunity to enlarge my scope to the Procurement industry. This was possible because the company encourages new initiatives and wants people to grow. So, it is a great opportunity to take on new challenges and overcome them.
