I’m a Solution Manager in process automation.
This is really an end-to-end job, looking at a large scope of activities - from the very beginning, when we discover and source new solutions based on ideas and opportunities in the business, until eventually the retirement of a solution. So really, the entire lifecycle is there, which makes things very interesting in my day-to-day activities.
We have a solution today which involves AI - artificial intelligence - machine learning. You take documents, you give them to the machine, the machine reads them and recognizes the words, the patterns, recognize the format of the document automatically, and then get back to you with the important information you need. This is one of the many examples in this automation journey we have at LDC.
It’s very important to be in a team where you feel supported, where there is collaboration. There is a sense of involvement and commitment in each activity. We are not big teams... but it makes it even more human and it really all relies on people being involved and committed to each other. So we feel supported, you support over and you get it in return.
