I'm responsible for Global IT Operations.
Basically, the responsibility of my team is to keep IT environment systems and applications up and running.
What excites me about LDC is the possibility to work with a lot of people around the world, to learn about the business every day and see that what we are doing makes a difference and helps the business.
There are a lot of projects! A couple years ago we implemented in Brazil an online crop season tool. During the soybean crop season . This is one of the most critical periods for the business and we were able to monitor and solve issues quickly and anticipate needs. It was joint work and I loved it.
The best part of my day is when we have morning calls with my teams around the world, seeing how things worked the previous day, and understanding needs and next steps, and aligning together to keep moving.
Resilience, that’s what I have learnt the most in LDC. To make sure we keep moving, and anticipation, to act in a proactive way to help the business.
What I bring to the table is my passion to work with people around the world and my willingness to learn more about the agri-market and how we can link technology with the business..
