The IT road map should support and enhance the trading performances. If a trader knows what could happen in the future and why something happened in the past, he is able to take a better decision, he is able to boost his trading performance.
The product that is closet to my heart is coffee, because I need it for my work. Coffee beans that have been toasted, roasted, and then crushed to get here, is something that is very close to my day-to-day reality. Last but not least, my first real analytics project at LDC has been with the coffee platform. So within delivering an application for commercial analytics to analyze the performance of our coffee business. Now we are trying to predict what will be the coffee consumption in order to get ready with our commodity trading and with our origination.
I feel that I can really have an impact in the company. We have the most satisfaction when we see that our solutions are really giving a competitive edge to our traders. Today we have a big young, dynamic, motivated, team that is really committed to delivering results to our business partners. I am really just trying to support them. The thing that I love is that the people build off on confidence to collaborate and they do more.
