In this role you would be working effectively within our team of Trading Accountants and Account Managers on the completion of all daily commodity accounting processes leading up and including the production of reliable, accurate and timely daily profit and loss reporting for the Trading and Marketing business.

Some key responsibilities would be but not limited to:

  • Responsible for assisting in the preparation, review and analysis of monthly financial reports for the Trading and Marketing unit and other reporting duties
  • Production of reliable, accurate and timely financial accounting information for T&M business in line with financial reporting deadlines
  • Completion of month-end ledger reconciliation processes and the production, review and analysis of monthly financial statements
  • Preparation of BAS
  • Assist with internal and external audit requirements
  • Reconciliation of accounts receivable/ payable balances between EGAPL and EL

About you:

  • Finance or Accounting undergraduate degree
  • Membership of Professional accounting organisation (eg CPA or ICAA)
  • Prior experience in a finance role - preferred.
  • Experience in a bulk commodity business - preferred
  • Previous experience working in a multi-currency environment - preferred
