In December 2024 Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) signed a binding agreement to purchase BASF’s Food and Health Performance Ingredients business including the acquisition of the Illertissen production site in Germany, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. This transition presents new and exciting opportunities for the Illertissen site under LDC's stewardship.

The Illertissen facility is poised to continue its legacy of innovation in food and health ingredients, drive new advancements and deliver high-quality products to meet evolving consumer demand and contribute to LDC's sector growth strategies. The dedicated team of approximately 280 employees is expected to join LDC and remains committed to delivering high-quality products, ensuring a promising future for the site and its stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

As Application Management Services Support Specialist, you will be reporting to the Senior Service Delivery Manager - SAP, your main missions will be to:

  • Provide end-to-end support for BOLD live countries, focusing on incident management and problem resolution
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Technology & Analytics (DT&A), Financial Processes and Systems Optimization (FPSO) and Application Management Systems (AMS) team members to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Manage and prioritize incoming incidents and requests, ensure complete information is collected form the users, translated in English and ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Illertissen specific SAP application support processes and procedures
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver Illertissen specific SAP application enhancements and updates
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all support activities
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on application functionalities and best practices
  • Participate in on-call support rotations to address critical issues outside of regular business hours
  • Work with global Feed & Food Solutions organizations to help build best practices
  • Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related discipline
  • Additionally, having certifications in application management, IT service management (such as ITIL), or other relevant areas would be beneficial
  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP application management or a related field, with a strong understanding of AMS processes and best practices
  • Experience in managing and resolving incidents, with a focus on root cause analysis and preventive measures
  • Experience in providing training and guidance to end-users on application functionalities and best practices

Languages:

  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in German

Other skills:

  • Ability to work independently in a fast pace and influence cross-functional teams at an international level
  • Proven leadership and communication skills to coordinate projects with multiple stakeholders

Experience
