The purpose of this role is to ensure inventory accuracy by maintaining the receiving of parts and goods, using the policies and procedures for the distribution of all parts and goods throughout the facility. Schedule the shipping and tracking of parts for returns, 
and rebuilds. Manage the spare parts inventory and ensure correct account codes are used for all different cost centers.

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Organize warehouse as well as outside storage areas
  • Verify products received are accurate with the packing slip and EPAC
  • Cycle counting weekly through EPAC to ensure inventory accuracy and make adjustments accordingly 
  • Rotate motors, gear boxes, and pumps quarterly to ensure reliability of the stored equipment
  • Assist Auditors in performing accuracy and inventory budget control
  • Enter REQs and order parts for work orders and stock through EPAC
  • Issue parts to work orders and update EPAC with work order cards from techs
  • Works with procurement on high dollar and long lead time items to get in a timely manner
  • Assign location to all new parts receiving into EPAC
  • Schedule outbound shipments with freight carrier and UPS or other shipping options
  • Organize parts room and work order shelf 
  • Restock parts room and warehouse and have the proper knowledge of where all parts and other goods are stored
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight daily
  • Check tools, radios and other supplies out
  • Work with all departments to assist the daily needs of the plant are met in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Work with planner and maintenance techs to pull and stage parts
     

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintains inventory of tools and supplies to ensure the efficient operation of plant equipment; requisitions spare parts as needed
  • Notifies the Maintenance Supervisor of potential safety hazards, equipment failures, operational inconsistencies and employee incidents
  • Assists with EPAC Program Development and Implementation:
  • Inputs new equipment information into EPAC and maintains spare parts list
  • Participates in DNA program
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Valid Drivers License 
  • Ability to drive fork lift and other equipment necessary to load and unload materials
  • Good organization skills, self starter, self motivated 
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and prioritize workload
  • Ability to learn quickly and effectively prioritize multiple tasks 
  • Ability to work independently and manage various daily requirements
  • Ability to work in a safe manner and follow all safety standards and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Computer experience preferred
