This structure is a strategic asset, more than a service provider, and aims to build a dynamic practice of over 1,000 professionals worldwide, driving the group's activities and contributing to the overall success of the organization. It focuses on improving service delivery and customer satisfaction at a global scale.
LDC recently acquired a new company in Germany through an industrial asset integration to diversify its activities as manufacturer of food and health performance ingredients. In addition to our regular SBS activities at a global level, you will also work closely with Germany, with a focus on supporting our new colleagues and business stakeholders.

As GL, Closing and Reporting Analyst, you will be reporting to the R2R Operation Manager, and will collaborate with a wide group of Finance, Execution, Procurement, other Professionals and the Business.
Your main missions will be to:
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all General ledger transactions processed for the respective Client entities in accordance with the Internal and External Accounting Guidelines.
Maintain all General ledger accounts master records in line with client’s CCOA (Common Chart of Accounts).
Coordinate all accounting activities associated with bank transactions, fixed assets, inventory, trade receivables / payables, factoring, employee/tax payables, & other accounting activities.
Prepare and process manual journals to ensure the General ledger is reflective of all relevant transactions for inclusion in the P&L account and Balance sheet in the reporting period.
Coordinate and reconcile all intercompany activities.
Prepare trial balance, Profit and Loss report, and Finance reporting according to IFRS standards.
Prepare and timely submit of monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting schedules in accordance with client’s reporting requirements.
Ensure all reconciling items are cleared in a timely manner. Monitor and escalate ageing issues monthly.
Prepare monthly business performance analysis & prepare monthly/quarterly VAT/Intrastat reports.
Ensure compliance with internal controls & other ad hoc tasks.
Experience
Experience |
Required experience and technical skills:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role within an international environment.
Experience/ knowledge in IFRS.
Good user knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
SAP, BI and Power Tools experience/knowledge is an advantage.
Languages:
English – fluent verbal and written communication.
Knowledge in another European language is an advantage.
Soft skills:
Confident communicator and a proactive attitude.
Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work to strict targets and deadlines and on own initiative, willing to learn.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Strongly developed interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team.
Experience in a multinational environment is an advantage.
