  • Performing Security Patrols and monitoring of activities, movements through CCTV Camera to ensure a safe and secure environment, recording maintenance issues, potential breaches of security or unusual occurrences in the ‘Occurrence Register’.
  • Protect property from theft, misuse, damage, trespassing, fire and accidents;
  • Ensure that all Guards at every post are alert and aware of their specific duties.
  • The observation and reporting of any unlawful activity;
  • The prevention of misappropriation of any goods, money or other items of value;
  • The control of access to premises being protected;
  • Investigate and take the appropriate lawfully action on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety, and fire;
  • Neutralize situations calmly with tact and common sense.
  • Watch for safety and fire hazards and other security related situations;
  • Implementation of company’s policies and procedures;
  • Provide any needed assistance to customers, employees, visitors, contractors, vendors, transporters etc.
  • Selection of new Guards/ Supervisors through interviews, written / physical examination etc.
  • Provide necessary training to the newly appointed Guards, Supervisor/ Writers by the agency.
  • Also carry out thorough training of all Guards related to Tanker/Truck/Other Vehicle Checking for prevention of theft.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the local language, both verbally and in written form; do required documentation by writing reports;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Management.
  • Ensure that those who should not be granted access to the Plant / particular areas in the plant are professionally and politely prevented from gaining access.
  • Provide support in an emergency or evacuation situation, in a calm and professional manner. Actively provide information to any emergency services when requested to do so.
  • Monitor and respond immediately to alarm system activations to check designated areas of concern.
  • Ensure that the Plant’s CCTV system is professionally, effectively and sensitively monitored.
  • Conduct individual bag/lockers/ vehicle searches, if directed to do so by the HR Manager/H.O.D or Plant Head.
  • Ensure the effective control and maintenance of keys and security equipment including any equipment.
  • Maintain all security related equipment and working areas to a high standard of cleanliness and safety and ensure all defects are reported.
  • Ensure proper documentation of entry and exit of men, material and vehicle and keep record of the same.
  • Complete relevant records and log books, in a professional manner providing sufficient detail.
  • Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required and provide regular feedback to the Management for improving the security.
  • To understand global SHE requirement and follow the global guidelines
  • To guide/train  the people and ensure implementation of SHE system,
  • To  provide active support to SHE Management system implementation for critical items work permit system, accident /incident reporting, safety training  etc. Provide support to organization to meet SHE target.

 

Experience

  • The candidate should have 3 to 5 years of work experience in Industrial Security.
  • Ex-defense personnel having relevant experience in Industrial Security also preferred.

Other skills (Computer Skills, etc)

  • Proficient knowledge and working in MS Word, MS Excel.

Languages:

Should be able to Read, Write & Understand the following languages-

  • Gujarati (Preferred)  
  • Hindi
  • English
