- Independently handling of Internal controls function & insurance (Other than HR related) activities across platforms.
- Ensure compliance are performed and recorded in recording tools timely across platforms.
- Coordination with regional/central teams for insurance related activities.
- Day on day coordination with platform controllers for general platform controlling & Process improvement.
- Supporting platform controllers in middle office & operational control activities.
- Continuous review of all type of costs and service contracts and suggest saving.
- Close coordination & discussion with central insurance teams for insurance related activities of LDC India (Other than HR related)
- Budget working as per regional/central guidelines and submission of the same timely for further approvals
- Ensure that all the policies are placed, regularly reviewed, and get those renewed timely.
- Negotiate with brokers for optimum premium rates.
- Periodic monitoring of limits and payment of additional premiums, having the requisite endorsements
- Follow up with platform functions for claim input in portal whenever applicable.
- Visit locations / assist insurance team in organizing visits to locations.
- Follow up with insurance company and central insurance team for pending claims.
- Organize knowledge sharing sessions for stakeholders.
- Cross-function and platform projects to drive our risk and control culture across the business.
- Implementing the necessary governance, monitoring and escalation processes and mechanisms to mitigate business risk through effective financial control execution.
- Acting as custodians of the Group's transversal controls, including our global Trade To Cash (TTC) process.
- Day on day coordination with platform controllers for general platform controlling MIS.
- Compliance Tool: Effectively monitor using applicable tools in coordination with the consultant & stake holders.
- To ensure that there is no exposure to the company / stake holders with timely compliances.
- Agency Agreement - Timely monitoring & Alarming teams for renewing Agreements and forms.
- Day on day coordination with platform controllers for general platform controlling.
- Continuously reviewing and improve controlling processes as per business dynamics.
- Continuous review and suggest for automation of processes for efficiency improvement.
- Ensure all operational controls are in place as per company policy.
- Ensure that Trade to cash policy and Delegation of Authority are implemented and followed across platform.
- Continuous Improve operation and financial controls.
- Supporting platform controllers for position and PNL reporting related activities and process efficiency.
- Daily position movement reconciliation with trader’s TT file and align position with trader’s positions.
- Daily FX exposure calculation and reconciliation of commercial trades vs currency hedges taken with finance platform.
- Monthly Forex Reco at Balance sheet level to reconcile all balance sheet item and initiate corrective actions to protect PNL .
- Cost analysis for various head related to production and execution; Estimated Vs Actual (Bank Charges, Custom Duty/ Port Storage/Transportation/Brokerage).
