  • Receive purchase requisitions to correctly identify the needs of our internal clients.
  • Analyze each requisition to determine whether it involves the purchase of an item or a service, and request quotes from potential suppliers using the Ariba tool.
  • Analyze and evaluate the received quotes based on user specifications for each requisition, verifying brand, price, warranty, and delivery time.
  • Ensure the correct generation of purchase orders in SAP, verify their accuracy, and ensure that the assigned supplier receives them.
  • Follow up until the purchased items are delivered, verified, and accepted by the users.
  • Address supplier and internal client complaints, returns, etc.
  • Identify alternative suppliers.
  • Generate local, regional, or global CAPEX contracts or purchases.
  • Negotiate with suppliers. Develop them in terms of quality, costs, and service.
  • Participate in the formulation of objectives, strategies, and policies for the department.
  • Keep the department's management indicators updated.
  • Graduates or soon-to-be graduates in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • More than 7 years of experience in the Purchasing area, specifically over 4 years in investment project purchasing.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently.
  • Advanced knowledge of English.
  • Experience in team leadership is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and information analysis skills.
  • Good interpersonal relationship management with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Skilled in negotiation strategies.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, ARIBA, Planview, and EBX is highly valued.

Experience
