We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Algorithmic Trader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and optimizing trading strategies using quantitative analysis and algorithmic trading techniques. The role requires strong analytical skills, programming proficiency, and a familiarity with financial markets. Candidate should have experience in C#, C++, Python, and Data experience with OneTick and Reuters, and execution with Bloomberg EMSX and FIX.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior traders and quants to develop, implement and execute trading strategies using quantitative analysis and algorithmic trading techniques.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential trading opportunities and develop models to predict future market trends.
- Develop, test, and optimize algorithmic trading strategies using data-driven approaches and statistical analysis.
- Monitor trading strategies and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments to optimize profitability and minimize risk.
- Collaborate with traders, quants, and technology teams to implement new trading algorithms and enhance existing systems.
- Work with traders to manage risk and ensure compliance with regulations and trading guidelines.
- Continuously monitor financial markets and trading trends to identify new opportunities and improve trading performance.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of trading infrastructure, including backtesting and trading simulation systems.
Experience

- Bachelors degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field, Masters preferred.
- 1-2 years of work experience in quantitative finance industry or related field.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of statistical analysis and financial markets.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, with experience in data analysis and visualization tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
- Knowledge of financial instruments such as equities, futures, options, and derivatives.
- Familiarity with development of execution algorithms.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with traders, quants, and technology teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and critically.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
