The candidate will be responsible to carry out everything from strategic planning to data analysis, to personnel management, as well as procurement and overseeing logistics and supply chain operations.
Main Responsibilities
- All trade related documentation and working such as trade contracts, purchase & sale invoices, delivery challan, delivery order and goods receipt notes, etc.;
- Supervise execution documents and manage field selectors. Coordinate internally and externally in order to manage procurement of cotton in an effective manner.
- Daily calculate Mark to market (MTM) counter party risk.
- Supervise the workflow with finance department in order to perform tasks such as booking of purchase, sales, transfers, etc. in the system.
- Check all documents for correctness such as sales tax calculation, transport documentation procedures such as road transport permits/waybills, carrier’s responsibilities, dispatch documentation, etc.
- Book closing procedures such as monthly accruals, stock reconciliation, physical verification reports of stocks, and preparing monthly stock reports.
- Talk to all stakeholders involved in the process of trade such as brokers, suppliers, customers, selectors etc.
- Checking vendors’/service providers bills against the work order and to verify the same for correctness/authenticity for the services rendered.
- Proper filing and maintenance of documents for future reference and audit whenever required.
- Release reports daily/weekly/fortnightly/monthly/yearly.
- Maintain inventory file and update it on daily basis.
- Manage Position.
- Assist in import of Cotton.
- Escalating matters to higher level wherever required.
- Dedicated and to work as per the requirement of job/shipment, time should not be a barrier.
Experience
Experience |
- Preferably MBA or equivalent.
- Experience in international execution.
- 3-5 years’ experience in container execution.

- Should be proactive in order to avoid any issue in the shipment. Should be able to take the ownership of the work entrusted & work as a team member.
- Knowledge on handling LC shipments, knowledge on sanction list trades & import licenses for destination port.
- Polite and able to develop positive rapport with overseas offices, shippers, buyers, service providers.
- Should be able to work under immense pressure.
- Deal with diversified stakeholders effectively.
