Summary:

The Research department is responsible for Market Intelligence Research into all products of the company, providing comprehensive information for decision-making with a thorough supply and demand (S&D) understanding across regions. This position will concentrate on data analysis related to Orange and Apple S&D in China and Other Asia, including modeling data, trade flow analysis, players mapping and good understanding demand dynamics within the region. This role will also involve providing information to integrate the global balance sheets for the entire LDC portfolio and ensuring data-driven decision-making.

Main Responsibilities

  • Estimate S&D in China through the crop tour, visits, events, and information from the market.
  • Correlation analysis through Apple, Orange S&D and Main Players in China and all Asia.
  • Model of Juice Consumption and run Long Term forecast in the region and support the Global analysis.
  • Analysis of trading data such as stocks/use net, supply and demand balance, trade flow and identify significant correlations between balance sheet movements to give a recommendation position.
  • Create reports and dashboards showing historical trends and market dynamics on the demand side.
  • Deep dive through data modeling developing models to forecast the demand and consumption trends on long term.
  • Understanding of in/out trade flow of juice in Asia.
  • Contribute to the preparation of various dashboards and analytics reports in Power-BI.
  • Integrate and participate actively in Juice Research activities as well as on cross platforms in the region.

 

    Experience

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum: 2 years of experience in Data Analytics.
    • Minimum: 2 years of proficiency in Excel and Power Point.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Databricks, Phyton and Power BI advanced.
    • Previous experience in Market intelligence in Agricultural Commodities.

    Other skills (Computer Skills, etc)

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Strong analytical capability.
    • Ability to organize multiple responsibilities, prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Experience data modeling, econometric and trading research (Preferable).
    • Experience in the beverage/juice industry (Preferable).

    Languages:

    • Mandarin 
    • English (fluent in both oral and written)
