Position Summary;
Aligned with LDC's culture, your mission is to ensure the successful operation of the specialty feed ingredients (animal nutrition) business and leverage your insights to add value. You are responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality products to specialty feed customers. Your role includes identifying opportunities to reduce production costs and optimize the supply chain, from raw material procurement to finished goods delivery. Additionally, you will manage customer claims, coordinating with various departments as necessary. This holistic management approach is essential for the success of your business.
Main accountabilities:
Operational Excellence including Supply Chain
- Supervise the manufacturing plant, analyze production data, and optimize processes. Building up from existing management system, develop relevant operational KPIs for their areas of responsibly. Implement daily, weekly and monthly operational reviews and supporting processes.
- Work with own manufacturing or 3rd Party OEM manufacturing to deliver products to customers on time.
- Plans and manages projects’ processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives.
- Work with procurement team to establish buying advantage on key raw materials for production.
- Recommend and lead the deployment of relevant operational improvement tools, based on the needs and maturity level of the reporting plants.
- Lead the coaching and development of functional teams under its area of responsibility.
- Participate in Regional and Global Operational teams in order to align the ways of working as One LDC. Support deployment of Global tools, processes and policy, ensuring alignment with Regional and Global programs。
- Ensures co- manufacturers/suppliers adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.
Business Excellence
- Collaborate with LDC functional teams to streamline new product development, production, sales, and customer service within specialty feed ingredients.
- Coordinate with Finance to control budgets and find possible opportunities to enhance the P&L.
- Lead programs and projects, within LDC, tollers or 3PMs, to improve gross margin by reducing costs on raw materials/finished goods/process optimizations.
Quality & Customer service
- Closely control product QA to make sure good product quality delivery.
- Define customer service process flow.
- Handle customer claims process, solve complaints on time and establish prevention actions.
Capital Deployment
- For their area of responsibility coordinate development of capital deployment plans, ensuring deployed capital meets LDC’s financial hurdles and the demands of the business plan in their area of responsibility.
- Oversee CAPEX projects by thoroughly reviewing project details to justify the budget and timeline from a user standpoint.
- Coordinate and guide the work of the respective project managers from design to construction and provide direction to the industrial and procurement teams from the conception to the construction and commissioning of the operations.

Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Operation, Supply Chain, Industrial engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Science or other industrial related.
Experience:
- 10 – 20 years’ operation/production management and project management experience.
- Experience and a proven track record of delivering operational improvement using tools and systems such as TPM, 6 Sigma, or similar.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Proven experience establishing business and operational processes, deploying systems and tools for at business unit, department, country or regional level.
- Related feed category working experience is preferred.
- Experience working in a matrix organization.
Languages:
- Very good command of English language; enabling day to day work both in English and Chinese.
- Knowledge of additional languages may be considered a plus.
