The Louis Dreyfus Company are currently recruiting for the full-time position of Yardsperson, based at our cotton gin in Emerald. This position is responsible for general yard duties such as: 

• movement of cotton modules, bales and seed
• loading and unloading trucks
• monitoring and reporting seed temperature
• seed loading
• maintenance of yard and machines
• tractor driving, slashing and drag bucket
• forklift / loader operation

Desired skills

• experience in cotton gin or warehouse environment
• forklift licence
• experienced front end loader operator
• mechanical aptitude
• strong work ethic and team player
• good time management skills to manage competing priorities
• computer skills
