The Louis Dreyfus Company are currently recruiting for the full-time position of Yardsperson, based at our cotton gin in Emerald. This position is responsible for general yard duties such as:
- movement of cotton modules, bales and seed
- loading and unloading trucks
- monitoring and reporting seed temperature
- seed loading
- maintenance of yard and machines
- tractor driving, slashing and drag bucket
- forklift / loader operation
Desired skills
- experience in cotton gin or warehouse environment
- forklift licence
- experienced front end loader operator
- mechanical aptitude
- strong work ethic and team player
- good time management skills to manage competing priorities
- computer skills
