  • Invite, negotiate and finalize operational arrangements at various ports through which exports or imports are planned for international execution (Container / Bulk – Dry / Liquid) requirements
  • Handling & Monitoring shipments in Bulk / containers for Indian & third country execution and to ensure Compliance of contractual requirements/conditions.
  • Aware of Shipping line, customs formalities & logistical procedure for container shipment.
  • Letter of credit to be checked & verified in order the same is complied with contractual terms and conditions followed by issuance & presentation of documents well within time
  • Appointment of CHA/CFS/Surveyors
  • Ensure timely and efficient performance and execution of contracts;
  • Clean and compliant presentation of documents within the stipulated time limits under export contracts;
  • Lodging and closing of claims under export & import contracts
  • Optimize operations basis volumes to bring down costs
  • Monitor the operational methods & performance of the competition to bench mark with our operational standards
  • Reporting of open contracts and positions to the trading team as per agreed time frame
  • To have valid agreements for service providers in place for all third party agencies providing services;
  • Detail understanding on charter party agreements.
  • Periodically review, and inform trader for amendment or extension of the contracts.
  • Define the clear roll and responsibilities for each team member
  • Guide the team to out-perform their role
  • Ensure implementation and compliance of company’s policies and procedures across the function;
  • Develop, discuss and drive process improvement within the function to bring in operational efficiencies and cost improvements;
  • Manages and leads team members in achieving company/platform goal, motivate and assesses performance.
  • Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals
  • Provide encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for training or skill checks.
  • Keep the team motivated and help on their learning and growth.
  • Master's degree or equivalent.
  • Min 10 years’ experience in international execution of agri-commodities (dry & liquid) in a multi-national agri trading corp.
  • Strong knowledge of both dry & liquid bulk cargo shipments execution with specific working in agri-commodities.
  • Effective communication with third parties and all internal points (platform and region).
  • Working knowledge of domestic market commercial taxation
  • Good aptitude for numbers, analysis, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong Knowledge of Laytime calculation, GAFTA (Trade governing body)
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Multi-tasking a must, ability to work under pressure with focus on performance delivery.
  • Strong IT Skills especially Excel and Proficiency in IT and its applications
  • Team-Player and a team-builder.   
  • Gurgaon or Nearby Resident (Open to relocate Gurgaon) Candidate Preferred.
