  • Responsible to identify /propose CSR projects and implementing CSR, LDF projects.
  • Ensure accuracy of the India/Pak oilseeds area/yield/ production estimates, by proposing different ways of crop estimation. Creatively improve the crop estimation methodology. Also go through previous years’ production estimate and learn from the history.
  • Proactively bring forward with the crop estimation, as well as the upside/downside risk. Hold India/Pak research meeting to discuss the crop area/yield/production on weekly basis.
  • Involve in Oilseeds Pressing survey analysis.
  • Highlight the risks to the crop estimates by working out various scenarios. assessment of the impact of various scenarios on yield and associated probabilities such as weather, pests, diseases and changing costs or supply of inputs etc.
  • Focus on improving India/Pakistan data automation and improve the working efficiency.
  • Provide, maintain, and update the Indian balance sheets for G&O (wheat, corn, soybean and rapeseed), with an emphasis on regional balance sheet opportunities and commodity switches.
  • Identify trading opportunities as a result of analysis of export/import competitiveness, producer gross margins/selling intentions and imbalances of supply and demand.
  • Provide updates of regulatory, political, environmental and consumer preference changes effecting each commodity or downstream use of commodity
  • M.Sc. (Agri), Preference will be given for specialization in Agronomy/ Agri Economics
  • 9 to 12 years of Experience
  • Leadership capabilities
  • Strong Agronomical skills relating to crop forecasting
  • Weather and gross margins analysis
  • Understanding of the market and influence of other markets, including other domestic and international commodity markets
  • Ability to source, aggregate, analyze, maintain up to date data and research material.
  • Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office (in particular advanced Excel Skills), VBA & Power BI
